Check out his story

Lih Guah is a 2017 graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, Singapore. He most recently served as chef to the U.S. Ambassador, where he engaged in culinary diplomacy through state dinners and cultural events.

Prior to that, he led the team at Gozu SF (now The Wild) and trained at the Michelin-starred O’ by Claude Le Tohic, experiences that sharpened his craft and deepened his respect for precision and storytelling in cuisine.

Now based in Singapore, he co-runs Journe with Ethel Koh, bringing a Californian perspective to ingredient-driven cooking while exploring new ways to connect food, culture, and community.
